What do we learn from "v'Oz Melech Mishpat Ahev"?

1.

Rashi: This refers to verse 3 - they will thank the strong King who loves Mishpat.

2.

Radak: Then they will see His strength, and that He is King over all. Then they will recognize that He loves Mishpat.

3.

Malbim: This is the second level. When You are not Ram above the nations without supervising, rather, You are like a judge who conducts everything according to Din (Mishpat). You are like a king who loves Mishpat.

What is the meaning of "Atah Konanta Meisharim"?

1.

Rashi citing Tanchuma, Reish Mishpatim: Meisharim is compromise and making Shalom between people. You prepared this via saying "Ki Sir'eh Chamor Sona'acha", "Ki Sifga Shor Oyivcha" (Shemos 23:5, 4). Who will see his hater bestow Chesed to him, and his heart will not arouse him to hug and kiss him?!

2.

Radak #1: You did Mishpat with Yakov (Bnei Yisrael) when You exiled them among the nations, and You did Tzedakah with Yakov when You took them out of Galus.

3.

Radak #2: All Mishpatim of the Torah that You gave to Yakov are straight. Then, all nations will admit to them.

4.

Malbim: You prepared Meisharim (straight laws] for everyone to conduct based on them. The Ma'arachah, which is Kisei Hashem, is founded on Meisharim, to act according to straightness and Tzedek. This is the conduct of Nochrim, according to the Ma'arachah. It is based on reward and punishment.

3)

What do we learn from "Mishpat u'Tzedakah b'Yakov Atah Asisa"?

1.

Malbim: There is a different, better conduct among Yisrael. It is not via the Ma'arachah, rather, You Yourself do Mishpat and Tzedakah. Mishpat is giving according to reward [for one's deeds]. Tzedakah is according to the supreme Tzedakah that You give to with Chesed, more than one deserves based on his deeds. When You conduct with the world with Meisharim, You conduct with Yisrael at a higher level, a mixed together of Mishpat and Tzedakah. It is wondrous, according to individual reward (Mishpat) and Chesed Elokim with special love. This is the Tzedakah; You do for them hidden miracles.
