Why does the Torah insert the (otherwise superfluous) words "ve'Chi Yih'yeh Ish Sonei le'Re'eihu"?
Rashi: Because it was the man's hatred that caused him to lie in wait for his friend - to teach us that 'Aveirah Goreres Aveirah' (one sin leads to another) - Because he transgressed the La'av of "Lo Sisna" he will go on to transgress that of "Lo Sirtzach!".
