Malbim (1-2): Sometimes one falters based on nature, if he is childless, for no one helps or supports him, and strangers will swallow him, and those who seek to 'inherit' him will destroy him. Therefore, it says that he had seven sons, who are like olive trees around his table (Tehilim 128:3); they surround him like a shield.
