What is "Me'um"?
Malbim: Mum is a great blemish, like those that disqualify Kohanim. Me'um is even a small matter. Chazal said, they did not have even a wound of blood-letting.
What are "Tovei Mar'eh"?
Ibn Ezra: They are not yellow, and do not appear ill.
Malbim: Their color was nice ? not too white, which shows laziness, nor black, rather, reddish-white.
Who are "Yode'ei Da'as"?
Ibn Ezra: They know from someone's first words what he wants to say 1 . Some Chachamim do not know until the person finishes speaking.
Even though they already know, they let him finish his words. A Chacham does not interrupt one who is speaking (Avos 5:7)! (PF)
What is the difference between Da'as and Chochmah?
Malbim: Da'as is what is known via the senses or axioms ? it is known clearly, e.g. natural science, geometry and Refu'ah. Chochmah is higher understanding via a sharp intellect, without proofs from Binah (contemplation) and Da'as.
Who are "Mevinei Mada"?
Ibn Ezra: They can make others understand what is in their hearts. Mada is like "Gam b'Mad'acha Melech Al Tekalel." Some Chachamim weary to express what is in their hearts, and do so in crooked ways.
Malbim: Mada is an arranged collection of Yedi'os that Chachamim agree about, e.g. natural science or Refu'ah. Mevinei Mada know to derive new matters via contemplation of matters in Mada.
What strength is needed to stand in Heichal ha'Melech?
Rashi: Chazal said, they can refrain from jesting, talk and sleep due to fear of the king, and they can delay defecating. Malbim ? also, they are strong and can stand on their feet [a long time].
Ibn Ezra: They have a strong nature to conceal passing gas. They can stand all the time, and bear (delay) the need to defecate.
What is "Lelamedam Sefer u'Leshon Kasdim"?
Malbim: They have good memory to learn from a language quickly, and also to learn the letters to enable reading it. Commoners spoke Arame'ic; Leshon Kasdim is how Chachamim speak in metaphors of Chochmah.
