What is "Mis'ad"? In Divrei ha'Yamim II, 9:11 it says Mesilos!
Rashi: Mis'ad is an expression of a floor.
Radak: They are pillars to support the ceiling.
Ralbag: It is a Ma'akeh (walls on both sides of the ascent from Shlomo's house to Beis Hashem, lest one fall). Malbim (Divrei ha'Yamim II, 9:10) - here it is called Mis'ad because Yis'ad (it will help) him go on his path.
Who are the Sharim?
Rashi: They are the Leviyim (who sing).
'Rashi' (Divrei ha'Yamim II, 9:10 citing R. Eliezer: They are officers who sing in front of the king for his pleasure. This is like "va'Yhi Shiro Chamishah va'Alef" (5:12), i.e. Chulin songs that he composed to sing in front of him for his pleasure. This is like it says (Divrei ha'Yamim II, 35:25) "va'Ykonen Yirmeyah Al Yoshiyah va'Yomeru Chol ha'Sharim veha'Sharos."
