What is the meaning of "Yechazekum"?
Radak: They fasten the plates of gold and silver to the idols via nails and hammers. They beat them until Lo Yafik, i.e. it will not be detached or fall, like u'Fik Birkayim. Malbim - the images themselves are not gold and silver, merely gold and silver are attached to them.
What is the meaning of "v'Lo Yafik"?
Rashi: It does not bend (bow from) the knees, like "l'Fukah" (Shmuel I, 25:31) and "u'Fik Birkayim" (Nachum 2:11).
Radak #1: It will not be detached or fall, like "u'Fik Birkayim" (Nachum 2:11).
