What is the meaning of "uv'Achas Yiv'aro"?

1.

Rashi: They are all foolish.

2.

Malbim: They do not serve wooden images because they deny Your Chachmah and ability - all know this 1 - "uv'Chol Makom Muktar Mugash Lishmi; ... u'Shmi Nora va'Goyim" (Mal'achi 1:11, 14)! Rather, it is due to one folly.

1

In verse 6, Malbim explained that some think that Hashem has Chachmah, but lacks ability, and some say oppositely! (PF)

2)

What is "Musar Havalim"?

1.

Rashi: They are afflicted due to their wooden folly (image).

2.

Radak: Chachmei ha'Goyim admonish the people to serve the images, which are folly. They are wood, covered with gold and silver - the lowest of the levels (inanimate, vegetative, alive)!

3.

Malbim: Even though the general ethical conduct comes from the supreme Conductor and His unlimited Chachmah, the ethical conduct of this lower world of folly, change, substitution, decay and loss cannot be complete, since this world is not prepared to receive Sheleimus. You cannot say that its ethical conduct comes from the ultimate Sheleimus. Therefore, they attributed it to inferior, lowly conductors, just like the conduct that runs the offspring of the lowly world are folly without reality. Therefore they said that the instructor of vain matters is the wooden image and is attributed to it, for this world is not worthy of a more Shalem instructor.
