What is the meaning of "Orach l'Chayim Shomer Musar"?

1.

Rashi: One who guards Musar, this is the path to life.

2.

Malbim: Musar is amidst necessity, to chastise his Nefesh not to leave its place, amidst fear of punishment. Tochachah is via debate and intellectual proofs of the benefit of the good path. Usually, Musar makes one refrain from the bad path, due to fear of punishment; Tochachah causes him to go on the good path, for he will get great benefit from it. One who guards Musar, not only will he refrain from the path of death - it will also lead him to the path of life. Via veering from evil, he will begin to do good. One who abandons Tochachah, not only does he not go on the path of life - he also strays to the path of death. The two paths are opposite each other; when he abandons the path of life, he strays to the opposite path.

2)

One who abandons Tochachah, whom does he deceive?

1.

Rashi: He deceives himself and others.
