Radak, from Shocher Tov #2: Until Hashem's word came. When Yosef told Sar ha'Mashkim "Ki Im Zechartani Itecha Ka'asher Yitav Lach" (Bereishis 40:14), Hashem said, you will have two more years of afflictions.

Rashi: Hashem tested him. He overcame his Yetzer for his master's wife, and due to this he was afflicted and incarcerated.

Radak: Hashem arranged that Pharaoh dream, and only Yosef could interpret it, and he was like refined silver in front of Pharaoh, and Sar ha'Mashkim said "like he interpreted for us, so it was" (Bereishis 41:13).

Malbim: Came the time that the refining in the iron smelting pot [was finished], so he will stand and be tested in his virtue.
