What is the meaning of "Hi Lo Sihyeh Lachem l'Sir"?

1.

Rashi: [Yerushalayim] will not be for you a pot that guards the sections [of the animal] until they finish cooking.

2.

Radak: You thought that [Yerushalayim will be for you like a pot; the meat does not leave until it finishes cooking] ? this is wrong!

3.

Malbim: The wall will not protect you, for it will be cleaved.

2)

How will you be like meat in it?

1.

Rashi: You will be cut into it and broken in it, like meat in a pot.

2.

Radak, Targum Yonasan: You will not truly be in it ? I will judge you on the border of Yisrael! You will be like meat, which melts in a pot.

3)

What is the significance of judging them on the border of Yisrael?

1.

Rashi: They will not die in Eretz Yisrael.

2.

Malbim: I will judge you on the border of Yisrael, and you will die there. You will not leave Yisrael's border. It is as if you remained inside [the city]!
