1)

Here they named the place 'Tav'eirah', whereas later, in Pasuk 34, they called it 'Kivros ha'Ta'avah'. Does this mean that they gave the place two names?

1.

Ramban and R. Bachye (on Pasuk 5): Following the previous episode, still in the same location, they developed a desire for meat, which resulted in the plague, on account of which they re-named the place 'Kivros ha'Ta'avah'. 1

2.

Seforno (on 10:33): In fact, they were two different locations. The current episode occurred whilst they were traveling; 2 the later one, after their next stop. 3

1

R. Bachye: And the Torah juxtaposes the episode with Miriam to Kivros ha'Ta'avah because, just as Yisrael spoke badly about the Manna, Miriam spoke badly about Moshe.

2

Since Tav'eirah is not listed among the places where they encamped.
