What do we learn from "v'Anochi Hashem Elokecha me'Eretz Egypt"?
Refer to 12:9:2:2.
Rashi: You say, I found "On" (strength) via oppression and fraudulent scales. "V'Anochi Hashem Elokecha me'Eretz Egypt" - there (in Egypt) I distinguished between [one who came from] a drop [of semen] that makes him a Bechor, and a drop that makes him not a Bechor. I also know and will exact payment from [those who use] fraudulent scales 1 , made for [swindling] one who does not understand, and one who buried his weights in salt (this makes them lighter) in order to swindle.
Radak: From there, your fathers knew Me. I did many signs and wonders and took them out of Egypt, from the house of slavery - "Anochi Hashem Elokecha..." (Shemos 20:2). You should have known Me from what I did with your fathers and with you and all after them, when they heeded My voice.
Malbim: In Egypt they were poor, and did not lend with Ribis, due to their poverty. They did not have fraudulent scales, for they had no business 2 . Therefore, the Torah mentions Yetzi'as Egypt regarding Ribis and false weights to teach that if they will transgress these, they will return to their poverty.
Bava Metzi'a 61b: Similarly, Hashem knows (and will punish) one who falsely claims that his money belongs to a non-Jew in order to lend it with Ribis.
Will Hashem make him dwell in tents again?
Rashi: I will cut off from you deceitful merchants, and I will make you dwell in tents - I will stand up among you Talmidim who engage in Torah.
Radak: Yes! So I will do in the future, to take you out of Galus, like I took you out of Egypt and financed you in the Midbar and made you dwell in tents. So I will do in the future when I will take you out of Artzos ha'Amim. I will make you dwell in tents in the Midbar on the way, and show wonders to you, until you will return to your land in Shalom - "Eftach Al Shefayim Neharos... v'Eretz Tziyah l'Motza'ei Mayim" (Yeshayah 41:18).
Malbim: Hashem says 'remember that I took you out of Egypt. You were in poverty there and lacked everything. If you will continue to weigh with fraudulent scales, I will return you to tents like "Yemei Mo'ed" (when you left Egypt); you will be poor tent-dwellers without a house, like you were.
What is the comparison to "Yemei Mo'ed"?
Rashi: Like the days of the first Mo'ed - Yakov was "Ish Tam Yoshev Ohalim" (Bereishis 25:27).
Radak: Like when you left Egypt. You did not put all this to heart, to contemplate the good that I did with your fathers and with you.
Malbim #1: Refer to 12:10:2:3.
Malbim #2: You will cease to make acquisitions, just like people cease from business during the Mo'adim and Yamim Tovim.
