What is "Divrei ha'Yamim"?

Rashi: It is the Sefer of Tanach called so.

Malbim: It is a Sefer of chronicles that they had, about everything that happened at that time.

What do we learn from "v'Ad Yemei Yochanan ben Elyashiv"?

Rashi: All the Roshei Avos of the Leviyim, until the days of Yochanan Kohen Gadol, are written there in Divrei ha'Yamim.

2.

Malbim: Yochanan is Yonason, the grandson of Elyashiv 1 . It does not say until the days of Yadu'a, for Yadu'a and Yochanan were Kohanim Gedolim at the same time, like it said above.
