Ibn Ezra: This is a noun, like Hodos, i.e. thanking [Hashem].

Malbim: It is a Levi whose name was called on Huyedos 1 . The Asnachta under Matanyah supports this ("Al Huyedos" is a new matter, not connected to Matanyah).
