What is the meaning of "Okir Enosh mi'Paz"?

1.

Rashi: That night, I will honor Daniel more than Paz (fine gold), when they brought him to read the [angel's] writing "Mene Mene Tekel u'Farsin"; "v'Halbishu l'Daniel Argevana" (Daniel 5:25, 29).

2.

Radak: I will make people of the world dearer than fine gold. I.e. if someone will want to redeem them, to exempt them from being killed, Paras and Madai will not accept their weight in gold in order not to kill them.

3.

Targum Yonasan: I will endear those who fear Me. Radak - Yisraelim in Bavel will not be killed amidst Anshei Bavel. They will be dearer than gold in the eyes of Paras and Madai; they will guard them, lest they be killed.

4.

Malbim: There will be such anger against Bavel, that even Enosh, the lowest person whose blood they spilled, will be dearer to Me than fine gold.

What is "Kesem Ofir"?

1.

Rashi: It is a collection of gold from Ofir. Radak - the matter is repeated in different words.

2.

Malbim: It is better than Paz; so Adam, who is more important than Enosh, will be dearer to Hashem.
