Why did he say that his eye saw everything, and his ear heard?

1.

Malbim: You cannot say that man's intellect does not understand Emes because he perceives only senses, but not the matters themselves. I understood all these matters with my senses, also with my sight. You cannot say that sight tricked me, for so my ears heard. Also others saw like I saw. Do not say that all people's sight erred in one way.

Why did he add "va'Taven Lah"?

1.

Malbim: This is not imagination or a mistake. It is true understanding.
