Malbim: There are two cases in which I would be silent, and not show my virtue. (a) If I did not yet arrange the debate, and it is hard for me to arrange my proofs and claims. (b) Even if I arranged my claims, if I was unsure if I will be vindicated, I would refrain. Neither of these apply!
