What was the question "hal'Kel Tedaberu Avlah"?

1.

Rashi: Since you come to quarrel on behalf of Hashem, it is not good for you to speak Avlah.

2.

Malbim: He addresses Elifaz and Bildad, who attributed Avlah to Hashem. Elifaz said that He gives a harsh punishment for a small sin. Bildad said that Hashem punishes in order to give reward for this later. Also this is unjust, for some people do not want this 1 !

Perhaps Hashem does so only when he knows that the person wants it! Iyov protested - I do not want it! Bildad could say, Hashem knows that in the end, you will be pleased that He afflicted you! Iyov disagreed - he was sure that he will not recover, and denied Techiyas ha'Mesim! (PF)

Do they speak deceitfully to Hashem?

1.

Rashi: They speak for Him 1 . "Lo" is for Him. This is like "Ani ch'Ficha la'Kel", "ha'Aretz Asher Diber Lahem", "Yilachem Lachem."

1

Malbim: This refers to Tzufar, who said that Hashem punishes a Tzadik who is forced to do evil, for Hashem knows that he will. This is Remiyah!
