What is "ha'Harsah"?

1.

Rashi: It is sunset.

2)

What was the answer?

1.

Malbim: (a) "From the eater came food" refers to bees. Others eat, and some of the food becomes part of them, and the waste is discarded. Bees suck nectar, and give off honey (food)! (b) "From the fierce came sweet" refers to the honey in the lion. Surely she told them this. Had they seen it, they would have talked about it, for it is a Chidush!

What is the meaning of "Charashtem b'Eglasi"?

1.

Rashi citing Targum Yonasan: (It is a metaphor.) You investigated (asked) my wife. Radak - this is like "Charashtem Resha" (Hoshe'a 10:13). Metzudas David -Charishah can mean plowing, or probing intent. He compared his wife to a calf, which is trained for Charishah. Malbim - he compared her to a calf, which was not trained to plow (only older animals are trained)! You were Macharish; she was not Macharish (silent 1 ) rather, she told.

Perhaps plowing is a metaphor for keeping silent, for the blade of the plow is hidden in the ground; also, the same letters spell Cheresh (a deaf-mute); refer to Yehoshua 2:1:2:3. (PF)
