What is "Tiskefehu"?
Rashi: His plight overpowers him, and forces him.
Ibn Ezra: He is ready.
Malbim: The fear seized him greatly.
What is a king destined for Kidor?
Rashi: I did not find anything like this. Perhaps this is ki'Ydod, and the latter Dalet was switched to a Reish, like it says "Ashkenaz v'Rifas" and "Ashkenaz v'Difas." We find "Kitim v'Dodanim 1 ". Ki'Ydod means like the king (Sancheriv) who will be burned in the fire of Gehinom - "Ki Aruch me'Esmol Tafteh Gam Hi la'Melech Huchan." His soldiers will be burned "Yukad Yekod ki'Ykod Esh." We find "ki'Ydodei Esh Yismalatu."
Ibn Ezra: [He is ready] to enter war like a king. There is nothing like this.
Ibn Ezra: Some say that he is surrounded with afflictions, like the Galgal surrounds the Kador (planet earth). The Kaf in Kidor is a prefix (like); the Kaf of the root is omitted 2 .
Malbim: In the days of Iyov, they judged a ruler and cast him like a ball from place to place until he died s gruesome death. The Rasha fears so much as if this awesome Misah was decreed on him.
Bereishis 10:4; in Divrei ha'Yamim I, 1:7 it says "Kitim v'Rodanim." (PF)
Ibn Ezra: This is difficult.
