What do we learn from "l'Adam Ma'archei Lev"?

1.

Rashi: Man arranges his counsel and words in his heart.

2.

R. Yonah: This is put next to humility, for an Anav constantly puts this to his heart. When he thinks about words of counsel, he does not trust in himself to get a proper expression so that the Rabim will accept it. This depends on Hashem! He does not rely on his Binah that his intent will be carried out.

3.

Malbim: The heart orders and arranges what he will say. Man has choice to arrange many ways to answer

What do we learn from "ume'Hashem Ma'anei Lashon"?

1.

Rashi: When one comes to answer, Hashem makes him stumble in his words. If he merits, Hashem prepares for him a good answer.

2.

R. Yonah: Refer to 16:1:1:2.

3.

Malbim: The final answer that man gives (from the many possibilities) is from Hashem. One needs help from above to give a good answer. "[The king asked, what do you request?]; va'Espalel El Elokei ha'Shamayim; va'Omar la'Melech
