Malbim: Until now, he was there temporarily. Now he became a fixed resident. Michah praised the idolatry for this. 1

Where do we find so? The next verse says only that now he knows that Hashem will do good to him! Perhaps it is because we should always judge a Rasha unfavorably. (PF)
