What is the meaning of "Ha'eleni"?

1.

Rashi: Bring me in.

2)

Before, Daniel himself entered to see the king. Why did he now ask Aryoch to bring him in?

1.

Malbim: Aryoch was commanded to kill the Chachamim. Seemingly, even if Daniel tells the dream and its interpretation, this will not exempt the Chachamim. This only increases their guilt ? they said that no person can know this! Daniel intended to advocate for the Chachamim 1 . It is best that Aryoch be there, lest the king be upset that Aryoch did not fulfill his command immediately. It will seem that Aryoch went to send Daniel to the king.

Why did Daniel advocate for Chachamei Bavel? This included those who counseled Nebuchadnetzar to destroy the Mikdash (refer to 2:11:1:2)! Perhaps he was concerned lest Chananyah, Misha'el and Azaryah be killed. The decree was on everyone called Chacham, even if they were not asked to interpret the dream (Malbim 13). (PF)

3)

Will he tell him only the interpretation?

1.

Ibn Ezra: Surely he must tell the dream first! He spoke concisely.
