What are "Rafsodos"?

1.

'Rashi': They are rafts. In Melachim I, 5:23 they are called "Dovros". Radak - they tie logs together at the ends and float them on the water and lead them in rivers and the sea. Dovros is an expression of leading. The Targum of "va'Yinhag" (Bereishis 31:18) is u'Dvar. The Mishnah (Brachos 4:6) calls this Asda ? 'Hayah Yoshev bi'Sfinah Oh b'Asda', and the Yerushalmi (4:5) equates this to Rafsodos.
