What does the verse teach about Bnei Ladan?

'Rashi': Ladan ha'Gershoni was Rosh Avos Yechi'el. This is Ladan mentioned above (23:7-8). Malbim - some of Bnei Yechi'el were appointed over Kelim, Soles, wine? (9:29). However, below (29:8) implies that they were appointed over storehouses of silver, gold and donations to the Mikdash.
