What is the meaning of "Ki Lo Inah mi'Libo va'Yageh Bnei Ish"?

1.

Rav Sadya Gaon: He does not afflict and cast people from Himself. Rashi - He does not do so "mi'Libo 1 " (due to His desire). Rather, it is due to sin.

2.

Palgei Mayim: It is proper that we, Keneses Yisrael, sit alone and wait, for the afflictions via Nebuchadnetzar, surely they are not from His desire. Bnei Ish are the children of Avraham, Yitzchak and Yakov.

1

Rashi: It is as if mi'Libo is written at the end of the verse.

2)

What is "va'Yageh"?

1.

Rav Sadya Gaon: It is to cast.

2.

Ibn Ezra: This is Pi'el conjugation, Nosaf 1 , like "Haytzei" (Bereishis 8:17). There is an Aleph at the end 2 in place of a Hei.

1

Magihah (in Toras Chayim): I.e. the first letter of the root is a Yud, but it is swallowed in the Yud of the conjugation.

2

So it is in some texts.
