Rashi citing Targum Yonasan: On the fallen bodies of those who were killed all birds dwelled; on the bodies of his camp, all wild animals descended.

Malbim: The birds will not nest and give birth there, just they will dwell on his fall.

Malbim (according to the Nimshal): The islands that trade there, they will pass through there to other places. The high [branches, i.e.] officers of the nations and their kings, will divide his land among themselves.
