What is the significance of "Lishlol Shalal"?

Malbim: One who fights will not acquire fame and honor. You had three intents. (a) To plunder and take acquisitions. Also refer to 38:12:2:2, 38:12:3:2.

What is the meaning of "Lehashiv Yadecha Al Charavos Noshavos"?

Rashi: You will destroy a second time the cities that were destroyed until now, and now they were settled.

Radak, Malbim: To destroy them, like they were.

Radak citing Targum Yonasan: To gather your camps.

What is "Am Me'usaf mi'Goyim Oseh Mikneh v'Kinyan"?

Rashi: It is gathered from nations that now make acquisitions. Radak ? "Mikneh v'Kinyan" refer to animals and other acquisitions. Also Yonason translates so. This is like "Mikneihem v'Kinyanam" (Bereishis 34:23).

Malbim: The nation is gathered from Goyim, and via this everyone does business with the nation from which he left; they sit in the middle of the world and have great trade. We must cease this trade, which harms the entire world!

Why does it say "Yoshevei"? It is not Samuch!

Radak: Sometimes there is Semichah to the word "Al", e.g. "Yoshevei A1 Midin v'Holechei Al Derech Sicho" (Shoftim 5:10).

What is "Tabur ha'Aretz"?

1.

Rashi: The height and strength of the land, like the navel, which is the middle of man, and sloped from all directions.

Radak (here and Tehilim 132:2): Eretz Yisrael is the navel of the land ? it is in the middle of the world. Yerushalayim is in the middle of Eretz Yisrael, Beis ha'Mikdash is in the middle of Yerushalayim, the Heichal is in the middle of Beis ha'Mikdash, and the Aron is in the middle of the Heichal from north to south.

Targum Yonasan: The strength of the land. Radak ? this is because Eretz Yisrael is higher than all other lands.
