What is the meaning of "Chayim Atzemo"?

1.

Rashi: Their life increases in Shalom and good.

2.

Malbim: Their hatred intensified to the point of [desire to take my] life.

2)

What increased?

1.

Rashi: My haters, due to false words.

2.

Radak: The children and property of my haters.

3.

Malbim: My haters' hatred.

3)

What are "Son'ei Sheker"?

1.

Radak: They hate me for no reason. This is like "Ach la'Sheker Shamarti" (Shmuel I, 25:21).

4)

Is this connected to the previous verse?

1.

Radak: Yes. My enemies have good and wealth, and I am always pained, poor and crushed.

2.

Malbim: Yes. One who is hated for a reason, he can remove the reason and the hatred will cease. If a Rasha hates a Tzadik for pursuing good, if he covers up his good deeds, the hatred will cease. I publicize my sin, and even so my enemies hate me - I pursue good, so they do not believe [that I sinned]!
