Radak #1: Even though this is not found in a Sefer of Nevu'ah, it is known via tradition, and Ne'etak (copied, i.e. transmitted) from person to person.

Radak: This refers to everything that Ezra wrote. Even though it is not found in a Sefer of Nevu'ah, do not say 'how did Ezra know what was not in his days?' There was a tradition for everything.

Malbim: The details of this episode were copied onto a special Sefer that Ezra had.
