Malbim: No. The names of Mishma's sons not taught, for they were not Nesi'im. Nesi'us ceased, until it started again with Chamu'el, and Zakur and Shim'i after him 1 .

This is unlike Moshav Zekenim and Or ha'Chayim (Bamidbar 34:19) bring from R. Nisim Ga'on, and R. Bachye (ibid. 17), that due to Ma'ase Zimri, Shimon lost Nesi'us. [forever]. A Midrash expounds so from "Shimoni" written Chaser - refer to Bamidbar 25:14:151:1 and the note there! Malbim cannot learn from "Nesi'im b'Mishpechosam" (38) that Nesi'us later returned. He himself explains that those were Nesi'im of families, but not of the entire Shevet! (PF)
