1)

With respect to what were they to the right and left?

1.

'Rashi': They were to the right and left of Moshe's Kiyor 1 .

1

Radak: Also the 10 Menoros and 10 Shulchanos that Shlomo made, five were to the right of Moshe's and five were to the left (Menachos 98b).

2)

What did they wash from the Kiyorim?

1.

'Rashi': The hands and feet of the Kohanim 1 , and the innards of Olos. Radak ? this is if we read "Es" like 'v'Es'; the Vov was omitted.

2.

Radak: It was only the innards of Olos.

1

Radak: Also Moshe's Kiyor was for this.

3)

Does "Olah" exclude other Korbanos?

1.

'Rashi': Yes. The owner of Shelamim eats it in the entire city (so it need not be washed in the Azarah).

4)

What was the purpose of the Yam?

1.

'Rashi' 1 : It was for Kohanim to immerse in it.

1

Rashi in Melachim I, 7:22 says so, and surely also our 'Rashi' should say so; there is a printing mistake. (PF)

5)

'Rashi' writes that the Yam was for Kohanim to immerse in it. Tevilah in Kelim is invalid!

1.

Radak (26, citing Yerushalmi Yuma 3:8): The spring from Ein Eitam entered it, and there was an opening the size of a pomegranate between the oxen's feet under the Yam (so it was connected to the spring).
