Initially she said that the loss of honor is due to the Aron's capture and the death of her father-in-law and husband. Why did she say now only due to the Aron?
Radak: The Aron is the primary honor.
Malbim: There are not two 'names' for the reason honor was lost. Just like the Aron houses Luchos, on which Hashem's Dibros are engraved, also Chachamim are an Aron for the laws of Oral Torah engraved on their hearts - "v'Al Libam Echtevenah" (Yirmeyah 31:33), "v'Sorasecha b'Soch Me'ai" (Tehilim 40:9). "Aron Elokim" is really Aronos. She aroused great mourning over her father-in-law 1 and husband, equating them to the Aron. People of Bavel are foolish - they rise for [a Sefer] Torah, but for a great Chacham! (Makos 22b)
