What are "Tze'elim"?

'Rashi' 1 : The Tzel (shade) of trees.

Ibn Ezra: This is like Tzelalim (shadows). The Aleph is in place of the doubled [Lamed], like "Baz'u Neharim Artzo" (is like Bazezu). Malbim - it will lie there after it is killed.

Metzudas David: Obviously, this is said in astonishment. Can it be in shade?! It is too big for anything to be shade over it! My Hashgachah sustains it, to shield it from the sun.
