What is the meaning of "ha'Semalei v'Sukos Oro"?
'Rashi': Will you fulfill your desire, and make huts out of its skin?
Ibn Ezra: Sukos is [thorns,] like "l'Sikim b'Eineichem." Will you fill its skin with thorns, until you will take it?
Malbim: Can you be Molel (scrape) and cut off the head 1 with Sukos, i.e. big knives used to cut fish?
The Reisha discusses the skin, and not the head! Perhaps the text should say Oro. (PF)
What do we learn from "uv'Tziltzal Dagim Rosho"?
'Rashi': This repeats the Reisha. Will you make a Tziltzal out of its head? It is called Tziltzal Dagim, for it is made from a fish. Tziltzal is a hut, an expression of Tzel (shade); the root is doubled, like Yerakrak, Pesaltol, Kaka.
Ibn Ezra: There is nothing like Tziltzal in Tanach. It is like a thorn in the fish's bones. It makes a hole in the head; fish are caught via this.
Malbim: Will you cut off the head with a big knife used to cut off the head of big fish?
