What is "Shod"?
Devar Eliyahu: Above (21), it is when people plunder one's life (murder). Here it is monetary, bi'Ydei Shamayim. Therefore, it is put next to Kafan (hunger).
What is Kafan?
Rashi (Yechezkel 17:7): It is hunger. Ibn Ezra #1 - it is the Targum of Ra'av.
Ibn Ezra #2: It is gathering, like "Kanfah Sharasheha." Ralbag and Metzudos - it is when people gather and hoard grain to jack up prices; Ra'av is when grain is not available.
Devar Eliyahu: It is internal hunger - his food does not satisfy him - "Achaltem v'Lo Sisba'u." Ra'av is external - a lack of grain.
Why will you not fear Chayas ha'Aretz?
Devar Eliyahu: The nature of Chayos is to fear man. They attack man only if Shamayim sends them - Chayos rule over a man only if he appears to them like an animal (Shabbos 151b).
Malbim: You were incarcerated via slander, and saved from the damagers that came to the city. The evil benefited you! Chazal gave a Mashal of two who wanted to go on a boat. One could not, for a thorn got stuck in his foot, and the boat sank. The thorn was for his good!
