What do we learn from "Menah Elaka Malchusach"?

1.

Rashi: Elokim counted (measured) your kingship.

2.

Malbim: Menei was repeated to teach about two counts. Yirmeyah said (25:11-12) that the nations will serve Melech Bavel for 70 years, and after 70 years Efkod on Melech Bavel. He also said (ibid. 27) that all Goyim will serve [Nebuchadnetzar], his son and grandson. If Belshatzar merited to live longer, the latter verse would obligate the nations to serve him 1 .

The verse did not explicitly say that they will serve him his entire life! If another source limits servitude to 70 years, there is no reason to serve longer! (PF)

What do we learn from "v'Hashlemah"?

1.

Rashi: He calculated the end of the kingship apportioned to your father and his seed, and found that it already finished.
