1)

Verse 6 already said that his appearance changed and he was befuddled. Why was this repeated?

1.

Malbim: His appearance changed and he was befuddled more than before. "Sagi" (much) applies to both of these.

2)

What is the meaning of "Mishtabeshin"?

1.

Rashi: They were alarmed.

2.

Ibn Ezra: This is like one who does not know what to do. Malbim - they had no hope of knowing the matter. It was not from lower angels or Shedim - Chachmei Bavel knew incantations and Segulos to make them reveal matters. Shamayim informs about evil so people can evade it, via Teshuvah or strategies - this was merely to terrify them. There is no cure for this - "u'Va Alayich Ra'ah Lo Sede'i Shachrah."
