What is the reason for this verse?

Malbim: It teaches that there is no way for Yisrael to be redeemed naturally. Do not say that some who are not exiled will redeem the captives. All their captors seized [all of] them for slaves! Do not say that they will free some of them - "Me'anu Shalcham"!
