Why does it mention that Elisha's servant rose early?

1.

Malbim #1: Via Hashgachah, he rose earlier than everyone else and left the city, and saw the camp. Had someone else seen them first, this would have caused tumult in the city, and they would know that Elisha is there 1 .

2.

Malbim #2: Elisha woke him early 2 .

1

What is his source to say so? Perhaps there is tumult due to fear of the massive army! (PF)

2

Perhaps this was to recognize the danger, and appreciate the miracle via which they were saved.

2)

Why did he say "Eichah Na'aseh"?

1.

Malbim: This implies that he knows that Elisha has ability to save; he merely asks how he will do so.
