What is the meaning of "Od ha'Ish Beis Rasha Otzaros Resha"?

1.

Rashi: There is a Patach under the Hei in ha'Ish, for it is in astonishment 1 . Od refers to a long time. Ha'Ish is like ha'Yesh; we find that David's father Yishai, in Divrei ha'Yamim I, 2:13 he is called Ishai. Also here, Ish is like Yesh. Also, "Im Ish Lehemin u'Lehasmil" (Shmuel II, 14:19) means Im Yesh Lehaimin u'Lehasmil. So Yonason translates ? is there? Does it cross your hearts that the Rasha's house and storehouses will last a long time?

2.

Radak citing Targum Yonasan: Are there still storehouses of evil in the Rasha's house? I.e. after Hashem's voice called ? they did not turn to His voice! Beis Rasha is like b'Veis Rasha; the prefix Beis is omitted, like "ha'Nimtza Veis Hashem" (Melachim II, 12:11).

3.

Malbim: Are there still storehouses of evil in the Rasha's house? Does he not fear Hashem, who sees his deeds?!

1

Radak: This is like "ha'Ish Kamoni Yivrach" (Nechemyah 6:11). The tradition says that in two places, there is a Patach (not a Chataf Patach) under the Hei, and it is a question; here the word is Chaser (missing a Yud), and there it is full.

2)

Why does it say "v'Eifas Razon Ze'umah"?

1.

Rashi: The small measure with which the rich swindle the poor [who buy from them], it brings them 1 to poverty, and it is cursed in Hashem's anger.

2.

Radak: You find Eifas Razon in the Rasha's house. Hashem hates it, like Amos said "Lehaktin Eifah u'Lehagdil Shekel" (8:5). Razon is like Razah (thin) ? it is deficient. Razon is a noun, with the grammatical form of Kalon and Charon. Targum Yonasan is, false Eifah-measures bring a curse.

3.

Malbim: Also the Eifah fixed via the Rozenim, who are appointed to oversee Midos, and they fixed the Eifah so it will be correct, also this Hashem is angry about it, for also the Rozenim sin 2 .

1

I.e. the rich. The poor are already poor! (PF)

2

A person sins only if he will gain from it (Kidushin 63b)! Perhaps also the Rozenim sold with these measures, or received bribes to make false measures. (PF)
