What is the meaning of "Chayasecha Yashvu Vah Tachin"?

1.

Rashi #1: Your congregation dwelled in it. This is like "v'Chayas Pelishtim 1 Chonah" (Shmuel II, 23:13) [Radak - and "Chayas Kaneh" (verse 31)].

2.

Rashi #2: Keneses Yisrael are called the Behemah and Chayah of Hashem.

3.

Malbim (10): When David's camp camped in the Midbar, they lacked what to eat. Hashem summonsed for them much flock of the enemy that grazed in the Midbaros; they ate spoils of their enemies.

1

Our text of Rashi is closer to verse 11 there. However, there "la'Chayah" is a place!

2)

What does "Bah" refer to?

1.

Radak: It is Yerushalayim.

3)

Why does it say "Tachin b'Tovasecha [le'Ani]"?

1.

Rashi: When they left Egypt, You caused them to be in the Midbar for 40 years, because the Kena'anim cut down the trees (lest Yisrael benefit from them). In the 40 years, they fixed everything.

2.

Radak: Amidst Your benevolence, You will prepare Yisrael, who remained poor and weak, for all 10 tribes were exiled, and Yehudah and Binyamin, many of them were captured from the cities that Melech Ashur conquered.

3.

Malbim (10): You summonsed for Yisrael animals to eat when they were Me'unim (afflicted), without food. This also applies to giving to Yisrael manna and Slav in the Midbar.
