Sifra: It precludes the need to anoint Aharon and his sons when the second and third Beis-Hamikdash are built.

Rashbam: It means that the S'char ¹ (benefits) of the anointing of Aharon and his sons ? what they receive from the Korbanos - are listed in this Parshah - the skin of the Olah, ² the Basar of the Chatas and of the Asham, ³ the four loaves of the Todah, ⁴ the Chazeh v'Shok of the Shelamim ⁵ and the remainder of the Minchah. ⁶

Targum Yonasan: It means that elevated status of Aharon and his sons over their brothers the Levi'im, that theit anointing granted them, enabled them to eat from the Korbanos of Hashem.
