What was his question? Hashem told him to burn the one designated via the Aron and/or lottery! Also, Achan admitted. If we cannot rely on his admission, how do Simanim help? Perhaps he had these things from elsewhere (not from Yericho), and they were hidden due to concern for thieves! (PF)
