Who swallows him?

1.

Rashi: The verse is abbreviated; is omitted 'the one who takes payment from him.'

2.

Ibn Ezra: It is as if he was swallowed.

3.

Devar Eliyahu: The body is swallowed from its place - the house.

4.

Malbim: The owner of the garden uproots it from its place.

2)

Who denies seeing you, and how?

1.

Rashi: His place. No trace is left of him - not a branch or root. It is as if he never was. This is unlike a Tzadik who falls - he rises. This one does not rise.

2.

Devar Eliyahu: The money denies. "I did not see you" refers to the children - he will not see them again.
