Why does it say "va'Eshtomem Al ha'Mar'eh"?

Malbim: I was astounded to see that it was fulfilled immediately. The ram with horns rose immediately. Therefore, Daniel knew that Takel Parsin means that the kingship will be give to Paras, since he already knew this from the vision 1 .

How did he know that the ram refers to Paras? Why did he not say that "Parsin" hints to Paras? (PF)

Why does it say "v'Ein Mevin"?

Rashi: They did not know that I was befuddled. I was in front of officers, and strengthened myself.

Malbim: There was no way to understand [the writing], if not that Daniel knew because he already saw the vision 1 .
