What is "Mizbach Hashem"?
'Rashi' #1: It is the stone 1 Mizbe'ach that Shlomo made.
'Rashi' #2: Some say that it is the copper 2 Mizbe'ach that Shlomo made in place of Moshe's copper Mizbe'ach.
We corrected the text of 'Rashi' based on what he wrote above (4:1, based on Zevachim 60a). Without fixing his text, his question against the latter Perush also refutes his own Perush! (PF)
'Rashi' This is difficult. It says "Al ha'Mizbe'ach ha'Gadol? u'Mizbach ha'Nechoshes Yihyeh Li Levaker." This implies that [Shlomo's] Mizbe'ach was not of copper! (We fixed 'Rashi's text; refer to 8:12:1:1*. Even though 4:1 and 7:7 say that Shlomo made a copper Mizbe'ach, 'Rashi' explained there 'in place of Moshe's copper Mizbe'ach.' ? PF)
