Why does it say "ha'Yosheves ba'Ganim"?

1.

Rashi: Hashem says to Keneses Yisrael, you are spread out in Galus, grazing in others' gardens, and you sit in Batei Kenesiyos and Batei Midrash.

2.

Seforno: So Hashem answers the commoners of Yisrael, who dwell in gardens and make acquisitions.

3.

Malbim (Melitzah): The Neshamah returns to Tzeror ha'Chayim and clings to Elokei ha'Ruchos forever. However, the Ru'ach does not return to this great level. Rather, it remains in the lower Gan Eden, and only occasionally, e.g. on Shabbos and Yom Tov, it ascends to a higher level, like it says in sources that I cited on verse 8 1 . Hashem addresses the Ru'ach, which dwells in the lower Gan Eden, and does not go to the higher Gan Eden.

4.

Malbim (Mashal): The beloved says to the young sister, you dwell in gardens. I.e. you did not distance yourself to the Midbar, like your sister. Rather, you sat in gardens near the city.

There Malbim said that the Ru'ach never goes to the higher Gan Eden. Perhaps the 'higher level' is to clothe the Neshamah when the Neshamah descends from the higher Gan Eden. (PF)

What do we learn from "Chaverim Makshivim l'Kolech [Hashmi'ini]"?

1.

Torah Temimah citing Bava Basra 75a: This teaches that "Chaverim" are Chachamim.

2.

Torah Temimah citing Shabbos 63a: If two Chachamim hearken to each other in Halachah, Hashem listens to them. Also refer to 8:14:1:1.

3.

Rashi: Angels, your colleagues, Bnei Elokim like you, they hearken and come to hear your voice in Batei Kenesiyos. Afterwards, the angels sanctify [My name] - "b'Ran Yachad Kochevei Voker va'Yari'u Kol Bnei Elokim" (Iyov 38:7).

4.

Seforno: Make Me hear the voice of Chachamim in Batei Midrash who heed your voice, when you [commoners] supply their needs so they can strengthen themselves [in Torah], and you will merit with them in Toras Hashem!

5.

Malbim (Melitzah): The Ru'ach is tied to the Nefesh below it, and the Nefesh is tied to the body in the grave, since it is close to them. Therefore, it cannot always cling to the supreme Beloved; just make Me hear your voice at certain times.

6.

Malbim (Mashal): Since you are near the city, there are colleagues there who hear your words, so I cannot be isolated with you close to you. Rather, make me hear your voice from afar.
