What is the difference between the "Chayas ha'Aretz Asher Itechem" and "Chayas ha'Aretz" with whom HaSh-m is now promising to make a covenant?

Rashi: "Chayas ha'Aretz Asher Itechem" refers to the animals that share the earth with man; "Chayas ha'Aretz," to the Mazikin 1 that do not.

Rashi writes: "'For all the beasts of the earth (Chayas ha'Aretz)' - this includes the 'Mazikin' ... which do not roam with other creatures." To what does the word "Mazikin" refer?

Mizrachi: It refers to demons, which had also been on the Ark. 1

Gur Aryeh: It refers to destructive beasts such as lions, bears and leopards.
