After declaring "Basar b'Nafsho" (Ever Min ha'Chai) forbidden, why does the Torah add the word "Damo"?
Rashi and Seforno: To forbid the blood of a live animal as well. 1
Ramban: It is the reason that Ever Min ha'Chai is forbidden - because the blood (the Nefesh) is still inside the Basar.
Targum Yonasan: It comes to teach us that before the animal is completely dead (while it quivers), it may not be eaten.

QUESTIONS ON RASHI
Rashi writes: "As long as its life is in it, do not eat the meat." How are the prohibitions of meat of a living animal, and the blood of a living animal, derived from the verse?
Gur Aryeh: "Basar b'Nafsho" means meat along with its life. 1 "Damo" is a separate clause, "Nor shall you eat blood [along with its life]."
Rashi explains this with the words, "as long as the life is in it" because on a literal level, the Nefesh has come along with the meat, not the meat along with the Nefesh.
